I know this is bit way a week ago. But I just cant picture out How Lolit Solis could’ve come up with such a story. Not that I’m a Piolo/ Sam fan. It’s just that if you frequent Sofitel’s pool side coffee shop/bar and I’m sure that you can’t recognize anyone like anyone, from the Pool-side coffee shop entrance.

TELLING THE TALE. Sitting in as guest in StarTalk (where she’s a co-host) with Joey de Leon this afternoon, October 20, Lolit animatedly recalled what she saw that fateful Friday.

“Nakita ko ‘yong dalawang lalaki na nagbubulungan,” started Lolit.

Interrupting Lolit, “Pangalanan mo nga…” Joey dared.

“Si Piolo Pascual at si Sam Milby,” Lolit quickly answered before adding, “Pero nalaman ko na lang ‘yon nung papaalis ako. Napatingin ako sa kanila.”

The feisty talent manager elaborated, “Naligaw-ligaw ako, pumasok ako dun sa coffee shop. Pagpasok kong ganun, doon pa lang ako sa pinto, may nakita akong dalawang lalaking nagbubulungan. Hindi ko kilala kung sino so lumakad ako. Nung nasa gitna na ako ng coffee shop, biglang yung mga waiter parang nagkagulo, ‘Ay si Lolit Solis, si Lolit Solis!’”

Instantly, Lolit heard a commotion coming from the direction of the yet-to-be identified patrons.

“Pagka-ganun ko, narinig ko sa likuran ko parang nagulo ‘yong mga upuan… parang nag-uumpugan yong upuan. So napalingon ako, paglingon ko, nakita ko si Piolo Pascual at Si Sam Milby.”

Adhering to Joey’s request, Lolit gamely demonstrated how the two men looked when she first saw them upon entering the coffee shop.

“Magkadikit yong pisngi ‘tapos bumubulong ‘yong isa dun sa tenga nung isa,” she said.

“Sino ang bumubulong kanino?” probed Joey.

“Si Piolo,” Lolit candidly replied, “Kasi si Piolo, naka-polo shirt dun. Si Sam naman, naka-T-shirt.”

As to the exact time of the sighting, Lolit said she was not definite, although she was certain it was around three to four in the afternoon.

“Pagkatapos kasi, malapit na ko sa pinto nun, hinatid ako nung isang waiter. Sabi ko, ‘Di ba si Sam at saka si Piolo ‘yon?’” she asked the waiter for confirmation.

“Opo. Madalas nga sila diyan, e. Basta between alas-tres ng hapon hanggang alas-kuwatro, minsan sa isang linggo, nandito sila,” was the waiter’s reply according to Manay Lolit.

Owing to misdirection and probably the unavailability of a venue map, she found herself entering Sofitel’s poolside coffee shop at around four in the afternoon.

Oh there is a venue map near the Elevators and Convenience store up near the balcony/ front office.

As far as I can remember, there’s only one accessible entrance/exit (allowed for visitors) to Sofitel’s Poolside bar & coffee shop, that is via elevator hallway (Kid’s Club). The hallway could be accessed through Sofitel’s elevators and “indoor” coffee shop.

This is what it looks like when your standing infront of the “DOOR” (entrance to poolside). Go figure.

This came in as a very basic manner of investigating Lolit Solis’ allegations. Using but a simple digital camera, anyone can figure out if she’s telling the truth or not. I’m certainly not thoroughly convinced with her statement ALONE.

My word of advice to Lolit Solis, always bring a small digital camera with you (heck, you can even afford to buy yourself a DSLR), you can even use a HIGH-END cellular phone (yes you can also use it as a digitalcamera aside from texting), when opportunity strikes again and you’ll find a good scoop for your article, point your camera to your subject and “TAKE IT TAKE IT!“. Tagal mo na sa showbiz, parang candy lang yan sa iyo.

Oh, BTW Ms. Lolit Solis, “NAGLALAMPUNGAN” is not a HARMLESS STATEMENT.

Sam Milby: This is completely fabricated. I will sue,if I didn’t see a retraction and a public apology. This is below the belt. I just wanna stand for what is right.
