This afternoon, while watching the said show, I’ve noticed how cold the studio audience were while participating on the games and the daily Boom-tarat/ Iyugyog mo routine.
At the end, Willie exclaimed “Alam nyo ba sa sobrang sikat ng show na ito, pati sa Youtube napapanood na tayo! Ilagay nyo ako sa Youtube (pertaining to the Latest Youtube Wowowee Scandal Video), natutuwa ako dyan (ehem*cue*sarcasm*)! Sabi nga nila masmagandang ikaw ang sinasaktan kaysa ikaw ang mananakit! Ipalabas nyo yan sa Youtube dahil ang katotohanan ang numero uno para sa amin ay ang sambayanang Pilipino!” (something like that, hey I’m not a stenographer, LOLZ).

Anyway, the “wowowee leaked video” was really disturbing. You just cant set aside how the Show Wowowee could pick out who they want to win. The Wilyonaryo Wheel Gadget is way too disturbing, this now makes me want to check out the props they use on their games.

On January 2008, Willie Revillame and Wowowee is bringing back the ever famous noon-time game Pera o Bayong. This to replace the ever-boring err what-dya call that game? Exhange or no-exchange arrrrgh whatever.

Perhaps the rest of the PINOY GAME SHOWS should be checked by Senator Mar Roxas and the Department of Trade and Industry. Wowowee is just one of them, Eat Bulaga, Kapamilya deal or no deal should be also dealt with the same “check and balance” routine. These shows may make false hopes and skewed perception for our less-fortunate countrymen who looks up to them and sacrifice a great deal of time and effort hoping they’ll get rich by patronizing and joining these shows.

By now, chances are you already watched the latest alleged Wowowee Wilyonaryo “Cheating” video from YouTube. If not, you can watch the said video HERE.

In the video, it shows daw how Willie Revillame and the crew practice how to cheat the infamous Wilyonaryo game by switching the films, or values inside a wheel. The video was leaked daw by a former Wowowee camera man who was nakonsensya because of the said cheating.

Notice that I kept saying “daw“, because nothing is proven yet. And as we all should know, its “Innocent until proven guilty”. Not the other way around.

The highlights of the video (at least for me) are:

1:20-1:30 mark - It shows Willie checking the content of the Gold wheel, with the values changing everytime he opens the wheel.

2:26 mark - where it says how the values are different now from before.

3:57-3:58 mark - where there’s a suspicious video chop (or video skip), signifying that the video may indeed be tampered.

Now, my personal analysis/opinion:

The 1:20-1:30 mark seems a really good evidence that there are indeed multiple films (or values) inside a certain wheel. If there’s something that Willie needs to explain about this video, it’s this scene. But look closely at 1:23 mark, where the video mysteriously “flickered”, or had a static. Video editing? Maybe, maybe not.

On the other hand, the 2:26 mark and the 3:57-3:58 mark is not reliable for basis, in my opinion. Why? Because the video just chopped, or skipped. I mean, for all we know, it is all just different scenes merged together just to make it look like one long scene which depicts that the values indeed changes.

Take for example, in a particular scene, Willie and company are practicing a .2 value. They do this just to rehearse how they, the hosts and the dancers, react during that particular scene. Then skip into another scene where they are now rehearsing a a different value like .5, now to rehearse how they will react to that particular value (more screams, more excitement, more overreaction).

Now, all the video editor (if ever it was indeed edited) has to do is to chop the videos, and merge the two different scenes just to fool people into believing that they’re just watching one long continuous scene. Simple trick.

But all that, dear readers, are just my personal opinions. I just can’t believe that Wowowee will make the mistake of taping how they practice cheating, AND THEN FAIL TO DELETE the tape before the end of the day. But then again, who knows.

And I’m not even a Wowowee fan. I’m a die-hard Tito, Vic, and Joey fan so I prefer watching Eat Bulaga! more. So you can say that I’m not biased, just curious.

I guess we’ll all just have to wait for Willie’s/ABSCBN’s side of the story.
