Woohaa, Retz is back!
Cebu City’s like a dream, much like Manila very busy, clean streets nice warm weather, friendly Cebuanos (grabe! napakabait). Via Princess of the Stars (Sulpicio Lines [My Rating: 2 stars]), we have to travel by ship, we brought our service car with us. We stayed at Rajah Park Hotel(My Rating: 3 and a half stars) (formerly Garwood Park Hotel) @ Fuente Osmeña, near Cebu Midtown Hotel and Sunstar’s (sunstar.com.ph) office, ang numero unong Dyaryo sa Cebu (7-8am palang ubos na, wala tuloy ako naiuwi for souvenir).
We even went to Danao Cebu (dun daw galing si Kim Chiu?) famous for its uhm “water” gun pistol (nyahaha).
Tabo-an is the place to buy their ever famous & very delicious “Danggit” (jusme, 3 kilo ba naman ang iuwi), hindi ka maliligaw dahil sobrang napabilib ako ng serial codes ng mga jeep at sasabihin lang sa iyo ng mga Cebuano kung anong serial code ang sasakyan mo para hindi ka maligaw.

Iloilo City, Hot Jeep Details
Bacolod, the city of smiles. From Cebu, we travelled to Dumaguete via Cokaliong Shipping Lines (arrived at 3am with ETA of 1:30am). All the best hotels in Dumaguete were “fully booked” so we drove straight to San Carlos City in (Negros Occidental) and then to Bacolod via Salvador Mountains (Zigzag all the way man! Eat your heart out Baguio!) very beautiful scenery, but I was informed later that it is a Nice People Around territory. Woah what an adventure. We arrived at Bacolod 12:30pm and checked-in at Business Inn Hotel (My Rating: 3 stars).
I asked a roomboy to buy Chicken Inasal for me and deliver it to my room @ around 2am, 2:30am he came back “with a smile” syempre, my room smells like sinamak* (local fermented vinegar with lots of garlic, onion, bits of ginger & chili peppers). Did I mentioned we had chicken Inasal for dinner at chicken country? Sarrrraaaaap! more on Chicken Inasal at Yugatech.
Iloilo, Heart of Western Visayas. By this time, sira na ang dyeta ng mga kasama ko. Great food like Kadyos, kinilaw & grilled tanigue, batchoy at napakarami pang iba. We stayed at Sarabia Manor Hotel (My Rating: 4 stars) for 2 days, ganda! And Hotel del Rio (My Rating: 3 stars) (infront of John B. Lacson College same street with Sarabia Manor).
Leaving Iloilo going back to Manila via Super Ferry 17, muntik ko nang parahin ang barko nung makita ko ang Guimaras. Beautiful! It’s a shame that officials didn’t do anything to prevent the oil spill reach some of its beaches. I couldn’t stop clicking on my camera, you have to see it firsthand.
Kakapagod, para sa mga nabitin visit my photoblog about my trip. Lakas Trip pare, Isulong ang kagandahan ng Pilipinas.

Wowowee, sinong `di mawiwili…
I got a chance to watch Wowowee LIVE! It was pretty tiring but quite fun. I made a reservation as requested by my Big Bro (TFC subscriber). Most of the Filipinos living in San Francisco, Daly City, Colorado, Sacramento Area are undoubtedly solid kapamilya fans.

Here’s the floor director, giving instructions - do’s & don’ts blah blah thingie stuff

Maja Salvador - with Vanna Garcia & Hazel Ann (Due to different lighting sequence inside the studio, Vanna & Hazel’s shot got overexposed when I took the shot)

Jericho Rosales promoting Pacquiao the Movie

Here’s my niece, Stephanie playing for Bigat-10, against a popeye-looking fella (the bald one) & Aling Selecta (I think). Stephanie opted not to answer the question, made way to help poor Aling Selecta or the popeye looking guy win the money.

Mariel Rodriguez - You should gotta see her in person. Bulol? Walang saysay? Mariel katropa mo na ako! Power overwhelming!!!

Pera o Bayong! - Bayong’s worth gone upto Php 120,000, but she (I forgot the contestant’s name! - sobra pagod na pagod na akong pumalakpak) chose “BAYONG” instead & got home with Php 20,000 for consolation price. Bummer!
While there (ABS-CBN) I got a few insider news AGAIN for Pinoy Dream Academy & Pinoy Big Brother. Dito lang yan! (Boy do I sound like an ABS-CBN host). Pero bibitinin ko muna kayo. I have to take a rest (whew, kapagod & my hands are an inch larger [palakpak brigade]).
Willie Revillame behind the camera/ off the camera, sobrang bait, palabiro & tackless at sometimes pero you’ll be able to sense his genuine sincerity to help, mapa-TFC, Local, contestants or audience. WOWOWEE!
**Maraming Salamat nga pala kay Jaypee & Mark ng ABS-CBN Tours! **
