Gaby Dela Merced was chosen to stay by the people over grieving Yayo Aguila via landslide. Text votes reveal that Gaby garnered 74.30%, while Yayo had 25.70%.

It all started when Yayo expressed her wish to be a part of PPBCE2 again, as an official house mate. But in order for this to happen, another house mate has to give up his/her spot. Upon hearing this, Gaby told Big Brother that she’s willing to step aside for Yayo. As much as Big Brother wants to grant Gaby’s sacrifice, he told her that he doesn’t have the power to do so. Instead, BB let the people decide on who gets to stay via text voting.

Winner gets to stay in the BB house, and the loser would receive 400,000 pesos but has to drop out of the competition.

I was actually surprised by the result. I personally thought that Yayo would win the text voting kasi kakaawaan siya ng mga tao due to the recent passing of her mother. Now judging by the text votes, I guess nobody likes her that much to stay inside the PBB house.

But with 400,000 pesos, Yayo has a lot to be thankful for. 400K doesn’t come around that easy nowadays. And she gets to spend Christmas with her family and loved ones. At least, it’s not that bad of a Christmas after all for her.

Ara Mina with an interview @ kapamilya buzz, she said she’s a freelancer and she can show up on both GMA7 and ABS-CBN shows. Last night, I still saw her on Michael V’s Bubble gang. I checked the show out after someone tipped me regarding her “Prinsesa ng Banyera” stint at ABS-CBN is confirmed. Playing out a role as the “totoong prinsesa” as she puts it, this might be the twist the afternoon teledrama was waiting for, for Angelica dela Cruz’ clean exit.

Rumor says Angelica dela Cruz was offered by GMA7 tons of project deal to make her sign-up for the said network.

Going back, Ara Mina came along with the Wowowee crew and management on their Wowowee US tour. Giving a ‘hint-hint’ to GMA7 that they should give Ara a line-up of shows for her or else. ABS-CBN also got a ‘go-go’ signal from Ara’s manager Boy Abunda that she can make guestings and sideshows with ABS-CBN for extra income and continous exposure.

Although Ara Mina has no other shows under GMA other than Bubblegang which she reported that she’s still under contract with until February 2008.

This afternoon, while watching the said show, I’ve noticed how cold the studio audience were while participating on the games and the daily Boom-tarat/ Iyugyog mo routine.
At the end, Willie exclaimed “Alam nyo ba sa sobrang sikat ng show na ito, pati sa Youtube napapanood na tayo! Ilagay nyo ako sa Youtube (pertaining to the Latest Youtube Wowowee Scandal Video), natutuwa ako dyan (ehem*cue*sarcasm*)! Sabi nga nila masmagandang ikaw ang sinasaktan kaysa ikaw ang mananakit! Ipalabas nyo yan sa Youtube dahil ang katotohanan ang numero uno para sa amin ay ang sambayanang Pilipino!” (something like that, hey I’m not a stenographer, LOLZ).

Anyway, the “wowowee leaked video” was really disturbing. You just cant set aside how the Show Wowowee could pick out who they want to win. The Wilyonaryo Wheel Gadget is way too disturbing, this now makes me want to check out the props they use on their games.

On January 2008, Willie Revillame and Wowowee is bringing back the ever famous noon-time game Pera o Bayong. This to replace the ever-boring err what-dya call that game? Exhange or no-exchange arrrrgh whatever.

Perhaps the rest of the PINOY GAME SHOWS should be checked by Senator Mar Roxas and the Department of Trade and Industry. Wowowee is just one of them, Eat Bulaga, Kapamilya deal or no deal should be also dealt with the same “check and balance” routine. These shows may make false hopes and skewed perception for our less-fortunate countrymen who looks up to them and sacrifice a great deal of time and effort hoping they’ll get rich by patronizing and joining these shows.
